Mission Statement: To make disciples that make disciples. We believe that Jesus is God and that we are sinners. God loves us so much, He sent Jesus, who never sinned, to die on a cross for our sins and give us his righteousness. He rose again three days later and now saves people and gives them a new life. We want you to receive that new life, follow Jesus and help others do the same.

What is Proxy?

Proxy is the name of the student ministry at Mars Hill | Ballard. Anyone in Jr. or Sr. High from any school or neighborhood is welcome to come.

When and Where

We gather weekly every  Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Mars Hill Ballard

What do we do at Proxy?

We build friendships, play Xbox, eat food, watch hilarious videos, worship, learn, and talk about Jesus. Every week one of our leaders delivers a 20 minute message from the Bible. We typically go through series based on topics or books of the Bible. We also sing songs to Jesus as a group. Sometimes we are lead in worship by our student band, and other times by an adult volunteer.

Who leads Proxy?

Mitch Miller is Proxy’s staff leader. Collin Hoke, an intern with Mars Hill Ballard, plays a big part in making our Wednesday night gatherings happen. We also have an entire team of excellent volunteer leaders.

Each of our leaders is a member of our church who have been carefully screened, interviewed and trained to work with youth. They are full of wisdom, ready and willing to talk with anybody, followers of Jesus and unbelievably fun.

How can I connect with Proxy?

  • Email: Ballardproxy@marshill.com
  • Facebook: Facebook.com/ballardProxy
  • What do I need to bring?

Nothing. Just bring yourself. It’s all free.

What if I don’t know anyone?

Proxy’s students and leaders will make sure you feel welcome and have a lot of new friends to talk to.

    Small Groups

Students have the chance to participate in a small group discussion every week. In small group we talk about the message, our lives and how the two mix. We also take time to pray for each other. You can talk, pray or just sit in and listen. It’s up to you.

    Special Events

Once in a while, we will have special events. These are always a blast. Sometimes we throw a concert, other times we’ll watch a movie. But, we will always have fun. Special events will be communicated to you as they come along. Typically these require a parents permission slip, so make sure to get it signed!
